5.0 out of 5 stars You’ll never forget it

By     Gayle D. Conley (Warner Robins, GA) I read this book when I was a young teen. This story has stayed with me my whole life, I am now 50. I grew up in So. Calif. and moved to Georgia in 1986. I never believed that I would end up close to where Nancy went to college. I have always wanted to know what she looked like, so this past month my husband went with me to Wesleyan College and we looked her up in the Yearbook. What an awesome experience, to walk where she walked! I know that might sound a little over the top, but this book has always been close to my heart. If you never read another book, you must read “At Least We Were Married”.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Inspiring

By Betty J Pippin (Albany, GEORGIA United States) I first read this book in the early 70’s but just recently read it again. It is a book that I certainly want to keep in our library. This shows just how special the marriage relationship is in God’s eyes. This is a story of a couple who were “sold out for Jesus” and also shows how God works in our everyday lives. God blesses those who keep themselves pure until marriage. I have often wondered where and how God was using Terry in building up His kingdom since the accident.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tear Worthy

By     Raquel (The Bahamas) I read this book in one sitting, it was so compelling I could not put it down. It had been on the book shelf of my house for years though I had never seen it. I am only 16 years old and I picked up the book one day attracted to the title and its somehow grasping theme ‘love’. I was moved to tears in every way physically, mentally and spiritually. I would recommend this book to anyone old enough to understand its concept and the reality of a tradgic love story.

5.0 out of 5 stars One Amazing guy,

By     Kristen (Seattle) I read this book when I was in the Fourth grade. You are probablly wondering why such a young girl grabbed ahold of this wonderful book. Well Terry Thomas is my Step Father. Once I read this book it showed me that love really does exist and some people take it for granted. I have listened to Terry tell me the story of him and Nancy many times. Everytime I hear it my heart aches. I hope when people read this book they understand life can get a lot worse. I definantly think this book should come back to print! 5.0 out of 5 stars The Power of the Written Word

By     ”newlightrevelations” (Hulbert, Ok USA) I read this book in 1983. A friend of mine loaned it to me when I was going through a very trying time in my life. I was trying to make a very important decision after 10 miserable years of marriage. Even though I was a christian, I thought that divorce was the only option left. I was wrong. This book brought me back to focus on the love I still felt for my husband. It was this true story of two people who were devoted to live the way they believed. With honor. This heart wrenching true story saved my marriage. I can say in all honesty, if anyone doubts the power of how words can change things, then they should read this book. It makes you think about just how precious life is. My husband and I will celebrate 30 years of marriage, and part of that success is due to Terry Thomas, who was courageous enough to write about is pain and loss. I hope that this book will be brought back into print. I have owned several copies but, I have given them away to others, who needed it, as I did once.I would like to own a copy to keep in my library. Please let me know if one is available. 5.0 out of 5 stars Such Pure Love

By     Patricia A Breen (Duluth, GA USA) I read this book after it was first published in the ’70’s. It left an impression on me which I have never forgotten of such love and devotion of two people – not only to each other, but to God and their families. Everytime I drive through Tifton, Ga., I think of the crash that night in a driving rainstorm and my heart aches for them and what might have been. This is the most tender love story I have ever read. I have misplaced my book and feel I need to read it again. Hopefully, Amazon.com can find me another copy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tears on my cheeks

By A Customer I read this book when I was 13 years old. I had never read a book until then that touched me so deeply. When I first started to read it I thought “Oh-oh, a chick book”. But, I really enjoyed it & would recommend it as a terrific example of a relationship between God, a man, and a woman!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Love Story, A Tragedy, Life goes on, October 31, 1997 By Denise Pedersen (Melbourne, FL USA)

This book was very moving to me as a young woman who was about to be married and also drove a VW Bug. My aunt insisted that we not take the VW on our honeymoon, but we did anyway! This is a book that details the love and brief marriage of a young couple deeply in love with each other and the Lord. I and several of my friends had a good cry over this one!
